Case Study
Trenton Pressing
Where GatesFlow was born. Tier 1 automotive stamping & assembly for BMW, Club Car, and ZF.
The Challenge
As a Tier 1 automotive supplier serving BMW, Club Car, ZF, and other global OEMs, Trenton Pressing needed software that could handle the full complexity of their operations — from APQP and PPAP to shop floor scheduling and quality control across 192,000+ square feet of production space. With 200+ employees, 3 buildings, automatic presses ranging from 200 to 660 tons, and 20+ automated weld cells, disconnected systems were creating data silos and slowing down critical processes.
The Solution
GatesFlow was built on the production floor at Trenton Pressing — same address, same team, same standards. The platform unified APQP program tracking, cross-system data mapping, and quality management into a single system purpose-built for Tier 1 operations.
The Results
After a $12M facility expansion in 2024, Trenton Pressing deployed GatesFlow across all production lines. The unified platform eliminated data silos between engineering, quality, and production — enabling IATF 16949 compliance workflows that run end-to-end without manual handoffs.
